The brand New MZD 35/35 and MZD 45/ 30 portable clinching hand tool and pneumatic drive unit are the latest editions to the constantly increasing range of the world renowned Eckold clinching technique. These new units benefit from a slim versatile light weight design which vastly improve the operating procedure, which in turn increases manufacturing speed and productivity.  Parent materials and dissimilar metals such as aluminium to steel can be joined without removing protective coatings and without thermal change, in addition to this no toxic fumes are produced.

Gas Springs

New for 2007 are a series of improvements and additions to the increasing range of gas springs. The first is a new Tension Spring with damping on the return stroke previously only available without damping. The Rigid Blocking Spring will be available with a low progression on extension which is ideal for desk/monitor applications. Our range of release head systems are joined by a new hydraulic push button version, and finally we will be offering an oil damper with a force adjustable facility.

Commercial Vehicle & Engineering Hardware

The step. pull-out ladder and service bridge range grows with 30 plus new designs being introduced through out 2007. In addition to this is a whole new range of aluminium extrusions, including sideboard, flooring and other vehicle build profiles. Eckold are also introducing some new Tipper products like the 3-point release rear steel pillars and the 2-point front release steel pillars. along with the aluminium and steel 1-piece side boards. We will also offer a new rear door systems, and fixed/sliding roofs.

TI Clamps

Following the acquisition of TI Clamps earlier in 2006 the production of Metal Clamps for the rotational moulding industry has gone from strength to strength. The complete range is now available from stock at the newly appointed european sales outlet Matrix Polymers in Northampton.
